A G2A discount code can be valid and still fail on a particular order. Promotions may be limited by account type, platform, seller, product category, cart value, region or the number of available redemptions. Work through the checks below before assuming the code has expired.
1. Confirm whether the offer is app-only

2. Check new-customer or first-order rules
A code described as a signup or first-purchase offer may require a new account or an account that has not completed an eligible order. Using a different device does not change the purchase history attached to an account.
3. Review the eligible product categories
Official G2A campaign terms can limit discounts to categories such as games, downloadable content or software. Gift cards, in-game currencies, preorders, subscriptions or products from certain sellers may be excluded. Read the terms attached to the exact campaign instead of assuming that a storewide code applies to every listing.
4. Check minimum and maximum cart values
Some promotions apply only within a specific cart-value range. An eligible item can also have its own maximum price. If the cart total is too low or an individual product exceeds the campaign limit, the discount may not be calculated.
5. Make sure the code has not expired or run out
Limited campaigns can stop when the published end date arrives or when the available code allocation is used. A page may continue to appear in search results after the promotion has ended, so prioritize recently reviewed offers.
6. Remove other discounts before trying again
G2A campaign rules commonly limit a transaction to one discount code unless the offer explicitly permits stacking. Remove another voucher, account benefit or incompatible promotion and then apply the preferred code again.
7. Check the account, currency and activation region
A product key has an activation region, while the promotion itself may also have territory or account restrictions. Confirm that the item matches your location and platform. Changing the displayed currency does not necessarily change eligibility.
8. Re-enter the code exactly as shown
Copy the full code without spaces before or after it. If the code was delivered by email or generated for an account, use the same account that received it. Personalized codes may not be transferable.
